Dimbola is partially accessible for wheelchair users. The ground floor tea room, gift shop and toilet are accessible and there is step-free access to the building via the tea room garden (to the left of the main entrance). There is a stair lift providing access to the upstairs galleries, unfortunately you will need to be able to move from your wheelchair to the stairlift. There is a wheelchair available for your use located in the upstairs galleries. There is also another stairlift for two steps from the festival gallery.
We strongly advise if you have any access requirements please contact us in advance of your visit to discuss how we may be able to accommodate your needs.
We are keen to make improvements to the accessibility of the building and our facilities, within the confines of Dimbola’s status as a listed building. We would welcome feedback and suggestions for improvements.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the tea room and museum.
